SPARKLE MARKETS

Campbell's Labels for EducationClick here to visit the Labels For Education web site.  It includes the complete listing of the eligible Campbell's products!  Please bring the lids, labels or UPC codes (from your family, extended family, neighbors, and friends!) to the next TEACH meeting or mail them to Barb F.   Thank you!

Giant Eagle’s Apples For The Students
program started November 2 and continues through March 20.
You do not have to save cash register receipts for this program.  Just register your Giant Eagle Advantage Card with TEACH’s School ID Number 4063 and every time you use your advantage card TEACH will get credit for your purchases.

Be sure to ask friends and relatives to use our number too.  One card can be registered with up to 5 different schools.

Items that can be earned from this program include educational software, sports equipment, and lab equipment.  Anything that is earned will go to the TEACH library or sports programs so all TEACH families can benefit from this.

To register your Advantage Card call 1-800-74APPLE or go to www.gianteagle.com , click on Educational Support (It’s listed under Community Events) then on Apples for the Students.  You will need your Advantage Card and TEACH’s School ID Number 4063.

If you registered last year you do not need to do anything.  You are still registered with TEACH.

We currently only have 6 registrants.  Those six earned us 4 points in last year’s program.  The smallest item in the awards catalog was 30 points.  They sent us an inflatable globe because we didn’t earn enough points to get an item from the award catalog.  It’s in the TEACH library waiting for you to borrow it.

If you have any questions you can contact TEACH member Julie B. at Juliemay@neo.rr.com.

If you talk to any TEACH members who are not online please pass the word as the program will be over very soon.

Thanks for helping us get going.  ~ TEACH Member, Julie B.

May 29, 2004 Update! We currently only have 11 registrants with Apples for the Students.  Thanks to TEACH members who participated in Giant Eagle’s Apples for the Students program. We earned 31 points and were awarded 11 bonus points for a total of 42 points! The points were used to get Snap Circuits Jr. which will be added to the TEACH library for the use of all TEACH families.

Snap Circuits Jr. is an electronics learning set that can be used to build 100 projects including a doorbell and a voice-activated light. Age levels are 8 to 108. Your whole family will have fun learning about circuits.

SPARKLE MARKETS

Please continue (or begin) to collect the green colored receipts from Sparkle Markets.

TEACH is eligible to benefit from the "Scholastic Savings Time" program at Sparkle grocery stores.

Sparkle will donate one percent (1%) of the value of all the receipts we collect and turn in to them at the end of the program in January.

Even if you don't visit Sparkle often, keep those receipts.  Every little bit helps to keep the membership cost down.

Please bring your receipts to the monthly TEACH meetings or mail them to any TEACH Board Member.

Thank you.
